Final Exhibition Reflection

This is my final reflection on the Year 5 Exhibition. My personal feelings about my topic have got more serious, sad and deep throughout the Exhibition. For starters I didn’t even realise how many people get injured in a crowd fight and at the start of the exhibition and for the first couple of lessons I didn’t even know that Sporting Crowd Behaviour was even that serious of a topic let alone know that it was really a thing. Some things that I have learnt about myself as a learner is how much better I work in a group not individually. I already new that but I didn’t actually realise how much better I work. Another thing that I have learnt about myself is that others think that I am a good learning partner to be with and be around because I always will get people motivated and in times when we are down I’ll always crack a joke or get some humour going so we can focus better and more than we already were.  My final thing that I have learnt about myself is when I get started to talk I just don’t stop talking until I have finished talking to the person that I am talking to. My personal feelings for the big night of the exhibition and the whole day of the exhibition were quite nervous at the start but in class we had to stand up in front of the class and the whole class would fire questions at us so after that I didn’t feel nervous one little bit not even when they were doing the opening of the exhibition night it was like all my butterflies in my stomach just popped after the class asked me questions about my topic. Overall I am extremely proud of myself that I survived the night and that everyone thought that my stall was amazing and that I talked about my topic clearly and that I had a lot of knowledge about my topic so I could just keep on going on and on about Sporting Crowd Behaviour. The final thing that I am proud if about myself is that I stood up for 99% of the time and didn’t collapse during the Exhibition night and throughout basically most of Thursday. I’m proud of you Hugo I’m proud!

Exhibition Reflection

This week in the exhibition I completed a lot of things like my poem and my art poster. I have also finished everything asked on my checklist. And also I am starting to plan my banners and my decorations to go on my stand. This week I am extremely proud of myself because at the start of the week I only had 2 of my fact sheets/fact file and now I have finished all that is asked from me. Finally this is my first poem:

A crowd behaviour fight happens almost every sporting night,
Under the spotlight is the fight,
Above the fight the camera records under the big bright light,
When something spills there is a big bill,
People fight for the rest of the night,
Can’t see can’t watch,
They demand a rewatch,
Angry mobs your only sight,
At the big sporting night.

Exhibition Reflection

This week in the exhibition I completed my second fact sheet and am half way through my third and final one. I am also very close to finishing my video in Media Arts because all I need to do is record my voice over and finish off my credits which I have basically done because I only need to write a few more names and the websites that I got the images on. I’ll be back next week with my las Exhibition Reflection before the holidays so see you then!

Exhibition Reflection

Hi guys today I am reflecting on the exhibition work that I have done this week. This week we finished our finding out progress and started our going further progress.

In the finding out process we had to find different sources and at least one primary source. Each of the different sources that you found out about you had to write down on your Reference page on Word, including your websites. A primary source can be a person with information about your issue or it could even be a book but only if they got the information from a person and that’s also the same with websites only if you know if the information is from a person to start of with. A challenge that I had was finding a source and a primary source.

In the going further progress we have to think about what more I could do to find out and how can you consider thee different points of view on this topic

Exhibition Reflection

This week for exhibition I started on my second line of inquiry and have done two of the questions for my second line of inquiry. After that we had our second mentor meeting with our mentor Mrs Flowers who gave me some very useful advice and the same with Miss Slater.

Exhibition Reflection

Hey guys, so far in my exhibition I have realised that working hard is extremely important because there are lots of challenges in the exhibition and in the key things that we have been doing in it. The other key thing that is important to do is to FOCUS that will help you get further. Overall so far I think that the exhibition has been a bit of a challenge but has been a lot of fun.

Exhibition Introduction

This year in year 5 we are doing a Year 5 Exhibition. In the Year 5 Exhibition you have to pick an issue and try to think of a way to solve it.
My topic for the exhibition is crowd behaviour in all different sports.
I chose crowd behaviour because I am very passionate about sports, mostly AFL. I also chose sport crowd behaviour because it is starting to become a fair big of a problem and every week it gets worse.
My transdisciplinary themes are How The World Works, How We Express Ourselves and Sharing The Planet. We haven’t chosen one yet because all of those reasons in those transdisciplinary themes all fitted in but our mane one was How The World Works.
One of our central ideas is to always use our time wisely when we have the opportunity to. Another one is to plan before you do.
