Final Exhibition Reflection

This is my final reflection on the Year 5 Exhibition. My personal feelings about my topic have got more serious, sad and deep throughout the Exhibition. For starters I didn’t even realise how many people get injured in a crowd fight and at the start of the exhibition and for the first couple of lessons I didn’t even know that Sporting Crowd Behaviour was even that serious of a topic let alone know that it was really a thing. Some things that I have learnt about myself as a learner is how much better I work in a group not individually. I already new that but I didn’t actually realise how much better I work. Another thing that I have learnt about myself is that others think that I am a good learning partner to be with and be around because I always will get people motivated and in times when we are down I’ll always crack a joke or get some humour going so we can focus better and more than we already were.  My final thing that I have learnt about myself is when I get started to talk I just don’t stop talking until I have finished talking to the person that I am talking to. My personal feelings for the big night of the exhibition and the whole day of the exhibition were quite nervous at the start but in class we had to stand up in front of the class and the whole class would fire questions at us so after that I didn’t feel nervous one little bit not even when they were doing the opening of the exhibition night it was like all my butterflies in my stomach just popped after the class asked me questions about my topic. Overall I am extremely proud of myself that I survived the night and that everyone thought that my stall was amazing and that I talked about my topic clearly and that I had a lot of knowledge about my topic so I could just keep on going on and on about Sporting Crowd Behaviour. The final thing that I am proud if about myself is that I stood up for 99% of the time and didn’t collapse during the Exhibition night and throughout basically most of Thursday. I’m proud of you Hugo I’m proud!

A cold shiver raced up my spine as I saw a dark figure lurking around the room. I was sitting on my couch and as I looked around for the figure the couch made a POOF noise and it was gone! My mum came out and I told her everything about what just happened. “But where did it go?” she shouted. It all went very quickly I told myself in my head and it’s all over now. But my heart was still pounding in my body and into my head and then I realised what happened oh no I thought.

As I woke up a cold shiver raced up the back of my spine and I got the goosebumps all over. As I wondered where I was I heard a deep mysterious voice and with a flicker the light was on and I was in a room all locked up. I must be in jail I thought as a man said “your correct there buddy.” As I tried to think why I was locked up in jail I remembered why. Seriously i thought to myself I’m seriously in jail because I stole one dollar from the bank. So I took a step and realised that I had a ball and chain on my foot it was heavier than I expected.

My Exhibition topic is Sporting Crowd Behaviour so this story is about an AFL match. We also had to include these five words:
Bicycle
Yellow
Desperate
Greedily
Warned
These words are going to be in bold in my story so you know that I have included all of them in my story.

The crowd cheered loudly as Richmond dropped an easy mark and the yellow, Sherrin football soared through Port Adelaides goals. Everyone was happy except for the Richmond supporters who warned the power supporters to back off. “OK” they said but when the power got another goal the Richmond supporters were not happy so they greedily started to tell them to back off until they pushed the port supporters in the back and they started to fight and suddenly the fi al siren sounded so they stopped the fight with the help of the security guards so desperate and eager to keep going the rode their bicycles home.

Exhibition Reflection

This week in the exhibition I completed a lot of things like my poem and my art poster. I have also finished everything asked on my checklist. And also I am starting to plan my banners and my decorations to go on my stand. This week I am extremely proud of myself because at the start of the week I only had 2 of my fact sheets/fact file and now I have finished all that is asked from me. Finally this is my first poem:

A crowd behaviour fight happens almost every sporting night,
Under the spotlight is the fight,
Above the fight the camera records under the big bright light,
When something spills there is a big bill,
People fight for the rest of the night,
Can’t see can’t watch,
They demand a rewatch,
Angry mobs your only sight,
At the big sporting night.

Exhibition Reflection

This week in the exhibition I completed my second fact sheet and am half way through my third and final one. I am also very close to finishing my video in Media Arts because all I need to do is record my voice over and finish off my credits which I have basically done because I only need to write a few more names and the websites that I got the images on. I’ll be back next week with my las Exhibition Reflection before the holidays so see you then!

Today we had to write an 100 word challenge and this was mine:

As I was walking down the street I was astounded of what I saw outside my favourite shop in town. There was two tall statues of men. One tall and handsome with slicked back hair and the other one a bit larger in size and with ruffled curls at the end of his slick hairstyle like the other one. She ran home to find out that her parents weren’t there because they were still at work so she ran back to town and checked out the statues and to her surprise there was lots of other people there taking pictures with the statues so she copied.

Birthday Graphs

This is my first draft which o quarter of the page and the months are on top of the actual data which  was wrong so I changed it to make it look better and easier to read. This is my second draft which is on a full page not just a quarter of the page like my first draft was. This is my final copy of my graph and I made the numbers more spaced out than my second draft which made the data of the graph more longer which makes it look better and fill up the page more.

Exhibition Reflection

Hi guys today I am reflecting on the exhibition work that I have done this week. This week we finished our finding out progress and started our going further progress.

In the finding out process we had to find different sources and at least one primary source. Each of the different sources that you found out about you had to write down on your Reference page on Word, including your websites. A primary source can be a person with information about your issue or it could even be a book but only if they got the information from a person and that’s also the same with websites only if you know if the information is from a person to start of with. A challenge that I had was finding a source and a primary source.

In the going further progress we have to think about what more I could do to find out and how can you consider thee different points of view on this topic
